Plutus \Plu"tus\, n. [L., fr. Gr. ?.] (Class. Myth.)
   The son of Jason and Ceres, and the god of wealth. He was
   represented as bearing a cornucopia, and as blind, because
   his gifts were bestowed without discrimination of merit.
