Polycrotism

Polycrotism \Po*lyc"ro*tism\, n. (Physiol.)
   That state or condition of the pulse in which the pulse
   curve, or sphygmogram, shows several secondary crests or
   elevations; -- contrasted with {monocrotism} and {dicrotism}.
