Predestinate \Pre*des"ti*nate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p.
   {Predestinated}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Predestinating}.] [Cf.
   {Predestine}.]
   To predetermine or foreordain; to appoint or ordain
   beforehand by an unchangeable purpose or decree; to
   pre["e]lect.

         Whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be
         conformed to the image of his Son.       --Rom. viii.
