Prognosticate \Prog*nos"ti*cate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p.
   {Prognosticated}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Prognosticating}.] [See

   To indicate as future; to foretell from signs or symptoms; to
   prophesy; to foreshow; to predict; as, to prognosticate evil.
