Prosylogism \Pro*sy"lo*gism\, n. [Pref. pro- + syllogism.]
   (Logic)
   A syllogism preliminary or logically essential to another
   syllogism; the conclusion of such a syllogism, which becomes
   a premise of the following syllogism.
