Pulsatile \Pul"sa*tile\, a. [Cf. It. pulsatile, Sp. pulsatil.]
   1. Capable of being struck or beaten; played by beating or by
      percussion; as, a tambourine is a pulsatile musical
      instrument.

   2. Pulsating; throbbing, as a tumor.
