Pus \Pus\, n. [L., akin to Gr. ?, ?, and to E. foul: cf. F. pus.
   See {Foul}, a.] (Med.)
   The yellowish white opaque creamy matter produced by the
   process of suppuration. It consists of innumerable white
   nucleated cells floating in a clear liquid.
