Pythagorism \Py*thag"o*rism\, n. [Gr. ?.]
   The doctrines taught by Pythagoras.

   Note: Pythagoras made numbers the basis of his philosophical
         system, as well physical as metaphysical. The doctrine
         of the transmigration of souls (metempsychosis) is
         associated closely with name of Pythagoras.
