Quadrifid \Quad"ri*fid\, a. [L. quadrifidus; quattuor four +
   findere to cleave: cf. F. quadrifide.]
   Divided, or deeply cleft, into four parts; as, a quadrifid
   perianth; a quadrifid leaf.
