Quiddle \Quid"dle\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Quiddled}; p. pr. & vb.
   n. {Quiddling}.] [L. quid what.]
   To spend time in trifling employments, or to attend to useful
   subjects in an indifferent or superficial manner; to dawdle.
