   vb. n. {Radicating}.]
   To cause to take root; to plant deeply and firmly; to root.

   Rooted; specifically:
   (a) (Bot.) Having roots, or possessing a well-developed root.
   (b) (Zo["o]l.) Having rootlike organs for attachment.
