Radiophare \Ra"di*o*phare\, n. [Radio- + phare.]
   A radiotelegraphic station serving solely for determining the
   position of ships. The radius of operation of such stations
   was restricted by the International Radiotelegraphic
   Convention (1912) to 30 nautical miles.
