   Of or pertaining to regeneration; tending to regenerate; as,
   regenerative influences. --H. Bushnell.

   {Regenerative furnace} (Metal.), a furnace having a
      regenerator in which gas used for fuel, and air for
      supporting combustion, are heated; a Siemens furnace.
