Reseize \Re*seize"\ (r?-s?z"), v. t. [Pref. re- + seize: cf. F.
ressaisir.]
1. To seize again, or a second time.
2. To put in possession again; to reinstate.
And then therein [in his kingdom] reseized was
again. --Spenser.
3. (Law) To take possession of, as lands and tenements which
have been disseized.
The sheriff is commanded to reseize the land and all
the chattels thereon, and keep the same in his
custody till the arrival of the justices of assize.
