Rodomonte, Rodamonte, a boasting hero in the ``Orlando
Furioso'' of Ariosto, and the ``Orlando Innamorato'' of
Bojardo; properly, one who rolls away mountains; Prov. It.
rodare to roll away (fr. L. rota a wheel) + It. monte a
mountain, L. mons. See {Rotary}, {Mount}, n.]
A vain or blustering boaster; a braggart; a braggadocio.
