Lizard's tail \Liz"ard's tail`\ (Bot.)
   A perennial plant of the genus {Saururus} ({S. cernuus}),
   growing in marshes, and having white flowers crowded in a
   slender terminal spike, somewhat resembling in form a
   lizard's tail; whence the name. --Gray.
