Sagittary \Sag"it*ta"ry\, n. [See {Sagittarius}.]
   1. (Myth.) A centaur; a fabulous being, half man, half horse,
      armed with a bow and quiver. --Shak.

   2. The Arsenal in Venice; -- so called from having a figure
      of an archer over the door. --Shak.

   Pertaining to, or resembling, an arrow. --Sir T. Browne.
