Sate \Sate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Sated}; p. pr. & vb. n.
   {Sating}.] [Probably shortened fr. satiate: cf. L. satur
   full. See {Satiate}.]
   To satisfy the desire or appetite of; to satiate; to glut; to
   surfeit.
