Tamworth \Tam"worth\, n. [From Tamworth, Staffordshire,
   England.]
   One of a long-established English breed of large pigs. They
   are red, often spotted with black, with a long snout and
   erect or forwardly pointed ears, and are valued as bacon
   producers.
