Tironian \Ti*ro"ni*an\, a. [L. Tironianus, fr. Tiro, the learned
   freedman and amanuensis of Cicero.]
   Of or pertaining to Tiro, or a system of shorthand said to
   have been introduced by him into ancient Rome.
