Traditor \Trad"i*tor\, n. [L., fr. tradere, traditum. See
   {Traitor}.] (Eccl. Hist.)
   A deliverer; -- a name of infamy given to Christians who
   delivered the Scriptures, or the goods of the church, to
   their persecutors to save their lives. --Milner.
