Transfuse \Trans*fuse"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Transfused}; p.
   pr. & vb. n. {Transfusing}.] [L. transfusus, p. p. of
   transfundere: cf. F. transfuser. See {Transfund}.]
   1. To pour, as liquid, out of one vessel into another; to
      transfer by pouring.

   2. (Med.) To transfer, as blood, from the veins or arteries
      of one man or animal to those of another.
