Tuberculocidin \Tu*ber"cu*lo*ci`din\, n. [Tuberculum + root of
   L. caedere to kill.] (Physiol. Chem.)
   A special substance contained in tuberculin, supposed to be
   the active agent of the latter freed from various impurities.
