Tyrian \Tyr"i*an\, a. [L. Tyrius, from Tyrus Tyre, Gr. ?.]
1. Of or pertaining to Tyre or its people.
2. Being of the color called Tyrian purple.
The bright-eyed perch with fins of Tyrian dye.
