Unguiculata \Un*guic`u*la"ta\, n. pl. [NL., fr. L. unguiculus a
   finger nail.] (Zo["o]l.)
   An extensive division of Mammalia including those having
   claws or nails, as distinguished from the hoofed animals
   ({Ungulata}).

Ungulata \Un`gu*la"ta\, n. pl. [NL., fr. L. ungula hoof.]
   (Zo["o]l.)
   An extensive group of mammals including all those that have
   hoofs. It comprises the Artiodactyla and Perissodactyla.
