Valerianaceous \Va*le`ri*an*a"ceous\, a. (Bot.)
   Of, pertaining to, or resembling, plants of a natural order
   ({Valerianacc[ae]}) of which the valerian is the type. The
   order includes also the corn salads and the oriental
   spikenard.
