Vulnerary \Vul"ner*a*ry\, a. [L. vulnearius: cf. F.

   Useful in healing wounds; adapted to the cure of external
   injuries; as, vulnerary plants or potions. ``Such vulnerary

   (Med.) A vulnerary remedy.
