Wearish \Wear"ish\, a. [Etymol. uncertain, but perhaps akin to
   weary.]
   1. Weak; withered; shrunk. [Obs.] ``A wearish hand.'' --Ford.

            A little, wearish old man, very melancholy by
            nature.                               --Burton.

   2. Insipid; tasteless; unsavory. [Obs.]

            Wearish as meat is that is not well tasted.
