   vella, G. welle, wave, OHG. wella, walm, AS. wylm; cf. L.
   volvere to roll, Gr. ? to inwrap, ? to roll. Cf. {Voluble},
   {Wallop} to boil, {Wallow}, {Weld} of metal.]
   To issue forth, as water from the earth; to flow; to spring.
