Zephyrus \Zeph"y*rus\, n. [L. See {Zephyr}.]
   The west wind, or zephyr; -- usually personified, and made
   the most mild and gentle of all the sylvan deities.

         Mild as when Zephyrus on Flora breathes. --Milton.
