Carpus \Car"pus\, n.; pl. {Carpi}. [NL., fr. Gr. ? wrist.]
   (Anat.)
   The wrist; the bones or cartilages between the forearm, or
   antibrachium, and the hand or forefoot; in man, consisting of
   eight short bones disposed in two rows.
