Quinovin \Qui*no"vin\, n. [NL. quina nova the tree Cosmibuena
   magnifolia, whose bark yields quinovin.] (Chem.)
   An amorphous bitter glucoside derived from cinchona and other
   barks. Called also {quinova bitter}, and {quinova}. [Written
   also {chinovin}, and {kinovin}.]
