Cladophyll \Clad"o*phyll\, n. [Gr. ? a sprout + ? a leaf.]
   (Bot.)
   A special branch, resembling a leaf, as in the apparent
   foliage of the broom ({Ruscus}) and of the common cultivated
   smilax ({Myrsiphillum}).
