   the stalk or stem of a plant, esp. a cabbage stalk, cabbage,
   akin to Gr. ?. Cf. {Cauliflower}, {Kale}.] (Bot.)
   A plant of the {Brassica} or Cabbage genus; esp. that form of
   {B. oleracea} called {rape} and {coleseed}.
