        1.  A {Lisp} variant originally implemented for
        {DEC-20}s by Chuck Hedrick of Rutgers.
     
        2.  A common abbreviation for {Emacs Lisp}.  Use of
        this abbreviation is discouraged because "Elisp" is or was a
        trademark.
