Embryonic \Em`bry*on"ic\, a. (Biol.)
   Of or pertaining to an embryo; embryonal; rudimentary.

   {Embryonic} {sac or vesicle} (Bot.), the vesicle within which
      the embryo is developed in the ovule; -- sometimes called
      also {amnios sac}, and {embryonal sac}.
