Frilled \Frilled\, a.
   Furnished with a frill or frills.

   {Frilled lizard} (Zo["o]l.), a large Australian lizard
      ({Chlamydosaurus Kingii}) about three feet long, which has
      a large, erectile frill on each side of the neck.

Frill \Frill\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Frilled}; p. pr. & vb. n.
   {Frilling}.] [OF. friller, fr. L. frigidulus somewhat cold,
   dim. of frigidus cold; akin to F. frileux chilly.]
   1. To shake or shiver as with cold; as, the hawk frills.
