   The cheek; the jaw. [Written also {jole}, {choule}, {chowle},
   and {geoule}.]

   {Cheek by jowl}, with the cheeks close together; side by
      side; in close proximity. ``I will go with three cheek by
      jole.'' --Shak. `` Sits cheek by jowl.'' --Dryden.
