Globule \Glob"ule\, n. [L. globulus, dim. of globus globe: cf.
   F. globule.]
   1. A little globe; a small particle of matter, of a spherical
      form.

            Globules of snow.                     --Sir I.

   2. (Biol.) A minute spherical or rounded structure; as blood,
      lymph, and pus corpuscles, minute fungi, spores, etc.
