Glomerule \Glom"er*ule\, n. [Dim. fr. L. glomus ball.]
   1. (Bot.) A head or dense cluster of flowers, formed by
      condensation of a cyme, as in the flowering dogwood.

   2. (Anat.) A glomerulus.
