Gobble \Gob"ble\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Gobbled}; p. pr. & vb. n.

   1. To swallow or eat greedily or hastily; to gulp.

            Supper gobbled up in haste.           --Swift.

   2. To utter (a sound) like a turkey cock.
