   the gullet.] (Zo["o]l.)
   An order of fresh-water Bryozoa in which the tentacles are
   arranged on a horseshoe-shaped lophophore, and the mouth is
   covered by an epistome. Called also {Lophopoda}, and
   {hippocrepians}.
