Implacable \Im*pla"ca*ble\, a. [L. implacabilis; pref. im- not +
   placabilis: cf. F. implacable. See {Placable}.]
   1. Not placable; not to be appeased; incapable of being
      pacified; inexorable; as, an implacable prince.
