Internecine \In`ter*ne"cine\, a. [L. internecinus deadly,
   murderous, fr. internecare to kill, to slaughter; inter
   between + necare to kill; akin to Gr. ? dead. See
   {Necromancy}.]
   Involving, or accompanied by, mutual slaughter; mutually
   destructive.
