Intolerant \In*tol"er*ant\, a. [L. intolerans, -antis: cf. F.
   intol['e]rant. See {In-} not, and {Tolerant}.]
   1. Not enduring; not able to endure.

            The powers of human bodies being limited and

      especially in religious matters; refusing to allow others
