Irrevocable \Ir*rev"o*ca*ble\, a. [L. irrevocabilis: cf. F.
   irr['e]vocable. See {In-} not, and {Revoke}, and cf.
   {Irrevocable}.]
   Incapable of being recalled or revoked; unchangeable;
   irreversible; unalterable; as, an irrevocable promise or
   decree; irrevocable fate.
