   A kitten.

   {Kit fox} (Zo["o]l.), a small burrowing fox ({Vulpes velox}),
      inhabiting the region of the Rocky Mountains. It is
      brownish gray, reddish on the breast and flanks, and white
      below. Called also {swift fox}.
