   1. Pertaining to pulse; consisting of pulse.

   2. (Bot.) Belonging to, or resembling, a very large natural
      order of plants ({Leguminos[ae]}), which bear legumes,
      including peas, beans, clover, locust trees, acacias, and
      mimosas.
