Muriatic \Mu`ri*at"ic\, a. [L. muriaticus pickled, from muria
   brine: cf. F. muriatique.] (Chem.)
   Of, pertaining to, or obtained from, sea salt, or from
   chlorine, one of the constituents of sea salt; hydrochloric.
