Narrate \Nar*rate"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Narrated}; p. pr. &
   vb. n. {Narrating}.] [L. narratus, p. p. of narrare to
   narrate, prob. for gnarigare, fr. gnarus knowing. See
   {Ignore}, {Know}.]
   To tell, rehearse, or recite, as a story; to relate the
   particulars of; to go through with in detail, as an incident
   or transaction; to give an account of.
